That definitely does sound fun, and I think my family would get in free with our Impression 5 membership! Free activities always a bonus!

I've been there but not with my daughter! It is an awesome place. I went with a preschool group where I was volunteering, the kids all had a blast and there is a small area for those not all that mobil too

Sounds like fun to me! I'd love to check it out with my daughter. We've been to Impressions 5, but she was too young to enjoy it.

It is a really neat place. I think that it is perfect for ages 0 all the way up to at least 9 or 10 years old. Would any of you like to plan a day to go? What day of the week works best and what time? Also, what is Impressions 5? I have never heard of it. Thanks!

Impressions 5 is a hands on science museum in Lansing. It's really neat for older kids. They have a play area for younger kids, but Kira was too young (not even crawling) when we went. She's running around now, so it will be more fun for her. Impressions 5 has a lab for older kids to make things with science, bubble machine, and a cool shadow maker. It's $4 per child and adults are free. Anytime is good for me to go to the Kids n' Stuff. Monday would be a little hectic, and thursday is the library, but other than that anytime is good.

Is Thursday Library Babies? Or just regular story-time? I had taken my daughter (who is 2 1/2) to the Time for Two's on Mondays but I hadn't heard anything about Thursdays.

I was completely wrong when I looked it up. It doesn't even start until APRIL!

Ok, so I looked on the website too and tis is what I found:

Time for Two's (ages 24 months-3-ish): Mondays at 10am and 11am starting Feb 2nd
Preschool Story Time (ages 3-5) Wednesdays at 10am and 1:30 pm starting Feb 4th
Library Babies (ages 0-24 months) Thursdays at 10am starting Feb 5th

I have been to all 3 and the time for two's is a couple stories and activites and then a craft
Library Babies is about 2-3 stories and then playtime for the babies
Not sure about preschool storytime, I have only been to that one in Grass Lake

But...the storytime room is open all day. There are activites, books, computers and a lot of hands on learning toys for the kids of all ages really. We could still meet there on the 15th and just let hem play and that way we can get to know each other and maybe plan some more playdates??

That sounds good to me. I'll be there. Did you sill want to make it for 10am? Or a little more in the afternoon, like around 1pm after lunch? The later one would probably be better, Kira can take her morning nap then, if thats okay. Let me know.

Elizabeth, if you are going to be in town after 5:30 and just want to meet one of the other moms (so you know we aren't psycho or anything), I'll be at work at the health food store in Jackson Crossing between 5:30 and 9.
