my diet works!
Hello, im new here but i wanted to tell everyone about my diet! i was in complete disbelief that i would ever be able to lose weight since nothing was working! i was trying to lose all my baby weight before i went and visited my friends and family in california. all i decided to do was eat less, drink more water and eat healthier! meaning no more cake or candy! when i get a craving i just eat some fruit! also i eat 6 small meals a day and drink maybe a gallon of water. the first few days were torture because i was honestly still hungry but i stuck to it and after a week my stomach was trained to eat as much as i did before i was pregnant! i tried working out but after like 2 days i gave up. so i dont even work out and ive lost 13 pounds in 2 months! now im not saying turn anorexic that would be extremely unhealthy! you have to balance your calorie intake. but for someone like me who used to just eat cookies and drink coffee all day, switching to healthier eating habits worked! I now weigh 111

i am so close to my pre-prego weight! just 11 pounds to go!

that is great that you are loosing. I would be careful drinking so much water. You can drink too much and loose nutrients and minerals your body needs by flushing your system of good things not just bad things.

Congrats Britney! I drink a ton of water too, it really makes a difference! Now... I don't think I weighed 100 lbs since the 5th grade lol... but HEY! if thats your normal frame, GO FOR IT! Best of luck!

lol thank you guys for the support! i dont think i drink too much water and im kinda lazy about it. i mean if there arnt bottles of water in my fridge than i dont drink water haha

you said you eat six small meals a day??   what would your 6 meals consist of and when would you eat??  just curious nothing has worked for me!!! id like to try your diet!!  thanks and congrats

Hey Katey,

This post was a year ago! Not sure how much feedback you'll get... but since I'm in the same boat of having to drop the weight again (just had my 3rd).... 6 small meals helped me the other times & I'm doing it again... instead of eating like 400-600 calories at one sitting, half it... so you eat smaller meals more frequently... it keeps you from feeling hungry and able to make smart decisions. So for breakfast I eat a veggie omelet, about 250-300 calories and instead of eating anything else I save it for a 2 hours later. So an apple and a banana say. You know how were customed to eating 3 servings of something each meal, just eat 1 or 2... does that make sense? Good luck!

 

By eating 1800-2000 calories and attempting 12000 steps everyday I lost 50 lbs in 6 mos. last year. I have 30 to lose this time.
