Hi Everyone,
Can any one give me some names of good pediatricians, OB/Gyns (especially multiples specialists), general doctors, dentists in the area? I feel so lost. We are moving in a couple of weeks from CT and I am almost 5 months pregnant with twins needing to find a new doctor and pediatrician especially as soon as I get there.
Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Kristyn,
Yes I know several great Drs & I am from Boston & went thru the same nervousness.
Dr. Lisa Vendeland is an awesome OB/GYN in Palm Harbor. I was high risk & she was going thru a sililar pregnancy at the same time... so she "gets" it!
Dr. Kalter is at Florida perinatal Associaltes & he (& his Clearwater office) is Superb. Very smart & laid back (a guy you could imagine having a beer w/) which is nice, because each visit can be scary!
North Pinellas Childrens Medical Center is awesome- they have 4-5 offices, so you can choose the one closest to where you live. Ther are EXELLENT (& will even see you on weekends for a really sick little one :)
My Primary is Dr. Vasta in Trinity- very nice & thorough
I absolutely HATED the dentist (would rather have a baby)! But I went twice this week & now don't even dislike going which is beyond a miracle! Smiles of Trinity- Dr. Franceschi (sp?)
I also have a new moms group on meetup.com called N. Pinellas East Lake playgroup for Babies, Toddlers & Parents. It is less than 2 months old, we have 44 members & have different activities 3-6 days a week available. It's only $5-yr (to pay for the site)... feel free to check us out for an 'immediate' support system! NO PRESSURE here- just an offer. | I too know a wonderful Dr. pediatrician..... they have 2 locations .....how cool Im pregnant and around 14 weeks.....Congratulations........I want twins but they dont run in our family....I will have to find the Dr's card and write you there info.....She is awesome I would still be there but they dont take state assisted ins.........I will write more soon. I second Dr. Lisa Vendeland!! She is great. I don't ever feel rushed when I go in to see her. I have PCOS (not trying to get pregnant! Done with all that.) and have had a hard time with my periods. She's very compassionate! Her website is www.newhorizons4women.com
We use Dr. Jay Harvey for our pediatrician. Our oldest son, who is 10, absolutely loves him! He is in Tarpon Springs off of East Lake Road. The number is 727-938-3800.
We are actually looking for a new dentist. We are going to try Dr. Thompson in Trinity. I know his wife. She is a member of a mom's group that I am a member of. I don't have that information but I will look later for it.

Thank you SO much everyone, that really helps a lot! I will definitely get in touch sandi. We are moving the last week in Jan, so it'll probably a couple of weeks after, when we get settled and unpacked.
