Hi, I just moved to Maryland. I have an 11 month old daughter named Sophia. I am hoping to meet some cool moms and their kids. So far I haven't been successful with Sophia making friends.

well since you're in silverspring, there is Gymboree, which for classes is kinda expensive but you can meet children your childs age, or you can go to their open gym which is $5 i think and fun.Where in silver spring do you live because you could pop over to Takoma park and we have story time tuesday at 10am. in the library, or monday is open play from 10am- noon at heffner community center on oswego dr.. Takoma Park has a year round farmers market that sometimes has performers and kids gather on sunay 10am-2pm. My husband , daughter, and I may also be taking a trip to baltimore in feb. to go to port discovery. We go on the train from union station to baltimore penn station and it's a lot of fun.
