i'm looking for advice on how to find a descent playgroup where i can eventually leave the children. I am a stay at home mother who has stayed at home with them for their first year. They are with me all day long and get along great with eachother. I've noticed however, at such events like the holidays when they get around other children they don't know what to do and get really nervous and scared. (especially my son) not so much my daughter. They tend to stay with eachother or myself. So I thought a play group that I didn't have to attend would help them out with their anxiety. (oh yeah and give me a break for an hour or two) Please help

Check meetup.com. I found a great local mom's group through that site and have made some good friends! Good luck and happy new year!
