Hi Michelle. I'm starting to wean my 1 year old also. With my first one, it was easy because as soon as he turned 1, he didn't want anything to do with nursing anymore. But my daughter is more attached than he was. I've introduced her to whole milk today, hopefully, when her taste buds are use to it, than it will make it easier for me to detach her. We will see. Ones your daughter turns 1, you'll beable to introduce whole milk to her, but don't give her formula, she won't take to it. I started weaning my son at around 10 months and by his 1st birthday, he didn't want anything to do with nursing. I'm just going to replace the nursing with food. Hopefully this will work. Keep me posted on how you're doing. Maybe we can trade strategies. Good luck.

Thanks for your suggestions. My daughter will be one feb. 13th. We just went to one nap a day she is sleeping so much better during the night to. I think I am going to cut out lunch feeding and then move up her 230 bottle and give it to in a cup. I didnt want to give her formula so I will probably increase her food and she will just natrually do so. wel see thank you!
