Hi Lori! I have a daughter who is 22 months old. Lately she has her nights where she will wake up like 2 times! I think she's getting her 2-year molars. You might want to check your son's back teeth if he ever gets wakes up screaming at night. My daughter has started throwing the biggest tantrums now! If we're at home, I just walk out of the room and ignore her while she's throwing a tantrum. That actually seems to work pretty well. She'll scream for about 2 minutes and then get up and play with her toys. If she throws a tantrum in a store, I just take her out of the store. That way she may learn that behavior isn't acceptable in the future. Our kids are probably too young to understand that now, but they will eventually get it. :-) Welcome to the group! I'm new here too.

Hi, it's Lori again, well the thing is, we are co-sleeping and when our son was an infant it seemed great not to have to get up every two hours to feed him. The problem now is that he is still on a very broken sleep schedual and last night he woke up "6 times"which is typical! I am trying to night ween him as the only solution I can think of in order to get some sleep myself so now when he wakes up I have to say no and struggle with that. there is really little difference between waking up and saying no or waking and feeding. I have also tried sleeping on the sofa which I will probably do tonight because he only wakes up twice when I'm not there.
any suggestions would be appreciated.
