I am exhausted.. I am covered in slobbery wafer paste and she wont stop screaming nonsense... I have been picking up all of the 100 building blocks for hours and I need to get out of the house... I need parents in the area to hang out with.. the isolation is driving me nuts... SAD SAHD
Too funny. I hear ya - unfortunately I'm in the Boston ( I wish I were still in San Diego,) area so I can't help ya out .Hang in there buddy - as time goes on and she gets older, you start missing some of those moments when she was just a little girl. I know its cliche, but try to remember treasuring every moment - you truly are lucky to be able to spend so much time with her. Think of all the parents out there that hardly get any quality time - so make it count. Mommy's aren't the only ones that are tough enough to do this job - and your little girl will eventually grow up to realize how much she means to her daddy. In the meantime, there's lots of things you can do to avoid cabin fever - try local Gymboree's, Little Gym's, and YMCA's to get out of the house for socializing and exercise. It did a world of good for me and my little girl. Good luck with everything and feel free to vent out and share your thoughts anytime ; )
