Yes, I am looking for a playgroup for my little almost 17 month old. I am a stay-at-home mom and am looking for others like me who want their little ones to socialize with other without having to enroll them in a daycare or a mothers day out program & I would love to meet and make new friends too. If anyone is interested please let me know. My name is Mary and my email address is pipkin1971@hotmail.com. Always Looking for a playgroup, Mary
Hi mary, im Amanda! i have a 14 almost 15 month old and we are looking for a play group as well. Have you found any in the tyler area? if not i would like to start one.
I have not found one... but I would love to help you start one... I placed an ad on craigslist to try to start one up and I had a few people respond but, after I made the offer to meet up somewhere and play..... I never heard anything back from anyone... I did save all of their emails, so if we decided to meet somewhere I can always shoot them an email and see who showes up... I am so excited that you wrote me... It is nice to see someone else besides myself that is serious about starting up a playgroup. I live in Bullard & would love to end up doing some playdates here at the house as well as at others moms homes and at the park, zoo & anywhere else the kids can play and have fun. I just converted one of our guest rooms into a playroom hoping to cut back on the rest of the house looking like a daycare but, so far it has not helped ANY... We also built a pool last year with a 5 ft water sundeck so Madison could walk around in the water and play (so it is has a kid friendly area) & I just think during the summer months that it would be so much fun for the parents and the kids to have fun and play and still stay nice and cool. It is just getting others interested in getting out and letting their little ones have playtime with others their same age... Not an easy task as I am finding out. Anyway let me know what you would like to do and we will go from there... Glad to hear from you... & I will talk to you soon. Always, Mary Newman
