nighttime diapers
They are my new and LOVED discovery! I use the Pampers on Alicia but at least like three mornings a week, if not more she would wake up wet through her clothes. I hated it because i feel awful for her and changing the sheet on her crib is a nuisance! I bought the Huggies nighttime and they are so great. They have so much extra absorbency, you can even FEEL how heavy duty they are. I think I may use them at nap time too!

Just wanted to share this piece of advice if any moms find it useful!

I have always wondered if such a thing was ever invented because the same happens to me sometimes--changing crib sheets is a workout! Thank you for sharing Jeanna, I am going to get some for sure!

I never liked Huggies. Before Jack was born, I was given lots of diapers, so I tried them all. Pampers Swaddlers were good, but very expensive. Pampers baby dry were ok, but no stretchy sides, and very expensive. Huggies were the worst. Jack leaked through 3 of them in one night once. It was awful. Every generic brand I have ever tried was better than Huggies. Luvs are the best. He has been in them for at least 4 months now and they have never, ever leaked. They used to not be stretchy, but now they are which is great because he is becoming mobile and they are more comfortable for him. Also, Luvs are the cheapest. Now, money is not necessarily the biggest factor for all moms, but if they are just as good and cheap, well who can ask for more?

I guess all babies are different because some people say Luvs aren't good and Huggies are better, so this is just my humble opinion. ; )

I am a pampers girl through and through - but only swaddlers and now cruisers - i don't find them much more and I always buy them on sale and hopefully with a coupon - then stock up! baby dry are crap and he's leaked out of most all generics, my second fav or would huggies supreme! If you have a boy - sometimes pp postitioning helps - who knew. I'm a girl, if my hubby hadn't brought it up then I would have never thought of it. Also occasionally buying the next size up for nighttime is good too, b/c you are sticking with what you know and allowing for more fluids in a bigger diaper.

Changing crib sheets is a pain. Have you tried sheet savers. It's just a small sheet type cloth w/ rubber backing. You can place it where you want in the crib (under the head for teething, under the bottom for leaking diapers) and tie it to the crib. When it gets wet you untie, wash and you're ready to use again.
just a thought

That's a good idea. I use water proof changing pads that I take with me. I have heard of people layering the crib. Put a waterproof pad on top of the sheet, then another sheet. If it gets wet pull of the top sheet and pad, and you have a fresh one underneath.

I did the same thing as Renee
with twins in their own cribs, it would take forever to get their sheets changed ... I would cringe at the idea ... so i used those crib pads under another light blanket and it was such a life saver ... luckily we never had many wet mornings (yet)

we switched from pampers to the BJ's brand diapers and I like them better

also for night time wets I was told (never tried it) to try using a larger size diaper to hold more

I hope this helps anyone with nighttime diaper issues

In the past month I had the same issue with my 7 month old son (bed wetting) I had a package of Pampers Baby Dry diapers that someone had given me in the next size up so I deceided to try them at night time. He usually wears Pampers Cruisers. What a lifesaver they were! He hasn't had a wet bed since!!! I swear by the Pampers brand. I loved the Swaddlers when he was little too. I've tried Huggies and cheap brands but he would leak right through them. And in reply to positioning a boys peepee - that has a lot to do with it, my hubby told me that too! The crib sheets would be a good idea but my son NEVER is in the same position as what he starts out in. He moves around A LOT!!!

Like someone else said everyone likes different diapers. I've found all the Pampers that I've tried to be good.

I'm the mom to a 14 month old boy. I've always been a Pampers fan but recently tried the Huggies Overnights diapers. They worked for a while but the last couple of days he's been waking up wet. I was just wondering if this is the brand that you are using or if there is another "overnight" diaper made by Huggies that I haven't come across yet? Thanks.

I was having the same problem so I just started buying the next size up and now she's fine. But thank for the info.
