Hi there, my name is Katy and i was on the lookout for a playgroup/mothers group.
I have a 5 month old baby boy, I am 24 years old and find it hard to find other parents who are raising children to talk and interact with.
I live in Chittenden County with my husband and three dogs. I work as a probation officer and have been there for two years.
I look forward to joining the group. |

Hi Katy,
I have a 7 month old little girl, and am also 24. I am home with her full time, and also taking classes online part time. My husband and I just purchased a home in Burlington. I have yet to meet up with other moms in this group, but will hopefully be able to soon!

Hi! Congratulations on your little girl, they are fun aren't they? That is great you get to stay home with her during the day, I really wish we could do that. But I do enjoy my job. I have always been on the lookout for a playgroup to meet on the weekends since I work full time. Gavin is in daycare all day, but it would be fun for him to interact with other children and I would love the interaction as well.
My husband and I live in Hinesburg, so a bit outside of Burlington but I work in Burlington so its nice to be in the"city" sometimes. |

| Thank you, and congrats to you too! they are lots of fun. Chloe, my daughter, has started crawling and pulling herself up now... its so great to see her moving around, able to get toys on her own now! Although, then I get a little sad that she's isn't my ity bity baby anymore haha We found a house in Hinesburg we really liked when we were home shopping, but someone snatched it up before we were able to look at it! We've been in Burlington for a few years now... its nice! I grew up in Montpelier, so its a nice change. Are you from VT? We are typically around on weekends, although the next few are pretty busy with family and holiday events! There is an open gym at the elementary school in Essex we've been going to on Saturday mornings that is a lot of fun. Its open for kids under six, but there have been quite a few babies the last few weekends we have gone! |
