help
My son is now to and we are starting to teach him some new things... it is very casual during free play and meal time. He is now able to count to twenty very qucikly and easily with very few mistakes... but i don't think he is making the connection between the word (3) and the amount three is. We have been reinforcing this concept for a few months now and he still doesn;t seem to get it. We gave counted blocks he puts in a basket how many m&m come in a fun size pack but im not sure he is understanding. Any suggestions?

i would look for a book or flash cards that have one tree, two flowers, three bunnies etc next to the numbers. when you go through it say "look 1-2-3 bunnies" while pointing to them.
