It's so ironic that I would be posting anything about weddings. Especially since I am no longer engaged. But like the movie, The Wedding Planner, "Those that can't wed, plan".
So what did I learn through this process that may be able to help one of you lovely women. Perhaps it's don't get so caught up in planing and budgeting that you lose the excitement between you and your man. At the end of the day your choosing each other. Everything else is just the logistics.
Let's talk about the logistics. Remembers ladies the wedding and reception is for your family and friends. The honeymoon is all about you! Don't spend so much on everything else that you go cheep on your honeymoon. It's important that you pick a place that fits your character. If your a private person and don't want to be around tons of people and families- chose an adults only resort or hotel.
The best thing to do when planning a honeymoon is be open & listen. Come up with a budget and let a travel professional do the rest. Let's be honest ladies, do you really think that your getting the best deal booking online on expedia, orbits, priceline or www.somethingelse.com. Do you know these people. Have they vowed to make sure all your need are met. This is your wedding we're talking about. Don't make the mistake and leave it up to the "Internet" . Work with someone you trust that you can be honest with and you know they will be honest with you.
I guess that's why I'm blogging here. I care about brides and want them to have the best time of there lives though thier wedding planning process all the way to the plane bringing you back to reality when it announces you've arrived back at your hometown.
Give my company, me, the honor and privilege to assist in your honeymoon plans and/or destination wedding.
This is you time ... We will make it last a lifetime.
If you have any questions about places, resorts, or anything feel free to ask. I am here to help.
