| I know when my son was a little younger than that, we were walking the mall and a mom approached me about Stroller Strides. After a week or two of weighing my options, I decided to give it a shot. The first try is free. We basically would workout together three times a week (actually a pretty thorough/good workout considering I am a former cross-country runner). Afterwards, we would get coffee or have a playgroup. We also did moms night outs. Definitely check out their website. It was really helpful to meet new mom friends. |

| I see "Music with Mar" has a lot of Florida locations not sure if one is near you at all. My 6 month old loves it. Lots of kids there and mommies. It runs for about 45min and it's an interactive music class. My 6 month old just stares at all the kids and seems to love hearing the music. I think it's like $7 a class or you can buy a package deal. |

| Thanks for all the suggestions ladies! I'm looking int the music with mar thing... i am already a member of meetup.cm but the only group around me is almst 2 hrs away =( |

| There is also a program called Kindermusik (all over the U.S.). This another music program. I haven't joined this one but I am thinking about it but I think it's a bit pricey. |
