Our traditions center around Jesus birth. We go to a Christmas Eve service Christmas eve. Christmas morning we eat breakfast together, then we read the Christmas story and play with the nativity sets. We do lots of fun family things during break. Zoo lights & lights at PIR. We fill a stocking for "Share a Stocking, Share a Heart" The kids love it. Especially to zoo lights. Our kids are very giving. We hope Christmas never becomes all about gettung gifts. We try and make one big gift that would be something we could do as a family, or that the kids can do with us.

Those are such nice family traditions, it is so nice to hear that you are keeping (and sharing) the true meaning of Christmas in your family.
