Thanks so much for the replies!! The thing that burns my biscuit is I am NOT friends with the Ex in real life! only on facebook! along with 200 other people I either used to work with or went to school with or are friends of friends, ya know? Its not like we are having drinks or dinner! we chat online once in a while! thats it! so now with her not talkin to me, the holidays are gonna be a blast! :-)

I would like to say. . I can understand the brothers girlfriends position b/c I wouldnt want to be in that situation either.. BUT I can also understand your position being the sister..I know you said you arent really friends with her in person, hanging out and whatnot.. but if my brother has a g/f for a long period of time and throughout the years we become friends, then if her and my brother break up I wouldnt just Stop being her friend. Unless she did something terrible to my brother that I just couldnt forgive.. but on neutral terms I wouldnt stop being someones friend just b/c she wasnt dating my brother.
I guess that can be a sticky situation if you are also friends with his new girlfriend. I dont think it is something she should stop talking to you over.. that is kind of silly, but she definitely has a right to her feelings about the situation. (although if you only talk to her on facebook, i dont think that is a big deal)
