I would take him to your pediatrician. If it is acid reflux, there are things they can do for him. Good luck.

Hi Nicole! I feel your pain. My son was the same way. He threw up (not spit-up - projectile vomit) at least twice a day every day for at least six months. Now he is 20 months and never does. It didn't matter what I did though. The doctor told me he has acid reflux too. All I can say is feed him in the kitchen, so you can rush to the sink if he is ready to throw up. That's what we did. Solids were even more tricky for us. Good luck! There is light at the end of the tunnel.

My baby is almost 6 months old and she still throws up. The doctor doesn't seem too concerned because she is gaining enough wieght. I know sometimes doctors can prescibe something. There are formulas made with rice starch (Enfamil makes one) but the stuff is pretty thick I had trouble with it fitting through the nipples so I gave up on it. As long as your little one is gaining enough weight I wouldn't worry too much but I would see another doctor to see if there is anything out there.

My best friends baby had the same exact problem until she was 6 months old. Her doc told her since she was nursing that she needed to stop eating dairy products. Its really common for babies to have allergies to milk protein....my son had this allergy also, only he had bloody stool and BAD cramping instead of throwing up. His pediatrician put me on a dariy free diet since i was still nursing half the time, and him on Similac ALLIMENTUM it is dairy free and soy free and is made even for premature babies who have undeveloped digestive tracts...its pre broken down so it is easily digested. Its more expensive but is provided through WIC with the doctors prescription for it. My pediatrician carries samples in his office, maybe you could ask to try it, and after about a week, if the throwing up has stopped or gotten better, you can make the switch! It saved us!!! The down side is that he will be hungrier quicker since it is digested quickly....poor little guy!! I hope that it gets better!! Good luck!!!!

Hi Nicole, My daughter did the same thing when she turned 2 months old. We found out she was allergic to her formula, which was enfamil. She was given similac in the hospital and she wouldn't keep that down at all i gave up on that after 3 days. We eventually switched to Good Start, it has partially broken down milk protiens so it's easier for the baby to digest. Katie quit throwing up as soon as we switched. But the Acid Reflux is something i would defiently talk to your dr about. When your son eats, does he take a few drinks and then quit, then take a few more and stop and thow up after he's done with his bottle?? Or does he suck his bottle down and then throw up? It might be worth it to try a different formula that might help with acid reflux if he has that too. HOpe this helps
