1 box cooked lasagna noodles equal parts cottage cheese & cream of mushroom soup ( about 3-4 cans cms to 1 x-large cc tub.) Provolone cheese salt & pepper to taste paprika
Mix together CMS and CC in large mixing bowl season with salt & pepper. Layer all items except paprika just like you would for regular lasagna with last layer being cheese and top with just a sprinkling of paprika. Bake in oven at 350' F for about 45-60 min. (till all melty and golden) Take out and let rest for about 10-15 min. before serving.(otherwise it will not hold shape when cut)
The original called for all Swiss cheese but I find it to over powering. I grew up on this thanks to my grandfather. Now that he's moved out of state my extended family keeps pestering me to make it for them to fulfill their childhood cravings. Even my two year old loves it. Served with a nice salad it makes a nice meatless meal; and boy does it save my pocketbook!
