hello everyone!
I am new on here, I have a 1 year old boy, who of course has alot of energy.
While he could badly use some new friends, he hasn't had much time around kids his age and I need to get him adjusted to that. I Could also use some more more mommy pals too, get advice, or share advice on things. meet up hang out some time possibly, would be great also.
The other reason I am on here is because I have an 11 year old step daughter, she lives with her grandmother, but the thing is she acts really stuck up, more less spoiled, and doesn't want to get along with me, or my son. She told her dad (my husband) that it's either me and my son, or her, and that she doesn't like me,never has ,never will and doesn't want to try.
My husband had to go overseas for a year,as he is in the army, which is part of why she is acting up the other is partly her mother whom is filling her head with crap and lies. And I really don't think she likes me.
I have tried time and time again to get her to at least get along with me. I have tried being hard on her, a softee, or nothing at all, nothing works she doesn't want to follow rules, be accountable for squat, or anything unless she thinks it's apprioate on her own terms, other wise anything is not enough or good enough for her.
She's obsessive over her dad has to know every move he makes, even disrespects me in our house when she use to come over by being snotty,rude,and even saying in a bratty way "doesn't she ever leave".
I just need some advice, some help, some tips, I a at a loss here, I have tried everything I could thing of, I wasn't prepared for all of this and have never been through this ever, and need help from people who have been down this road, what they've done, how things have worked out. thanks. |
