Playgroups Inc Together with the Holistic Moms Network Poconos Chapter are Hosting a “Green Living” Event on
Tuesday December 9th at 10:30 am – 1:30pm
at the Hughes Library Community Room in Stroudsburg.
One hundred (100) Free Eco-Friendly Totes filled with products, coupons, and informative literature will be given out to the first 100 attendees. Gdiapers is donating the totes. Sponsors include Seventh Generation, Sun and Earth, O.N.E Coconut Water, Tru Kids, NUI Kids Water, Organic Valley, Maple Grace, EcoSmart, Naturepedic, Safecoat, Luna Bars, and Cliff who all donated products, coupons, literature and door prizes. Local supporters, Earthlight Natural Foods in Stroudsburg donated door prizes and helped with publicity for the event. Helen Coronato, author of “Eco-Friendly Families” will be donating an autographed copy of her book as a door prize.
The “Green Living Event” will feature guest speakers, tables displaying products from eco-friendly companies, demonstrations on how to make your own non-toxic cleaning products, and literature on the importance of eating organic, safe alternatives to pesticides, and the dangers of plastics in baby bottles and food containers.
