Hi J.
I'm shirley and I've been crocheting a little over a year now. i'm currently working on a few projects. stockings for the family, a lapghan for a friend, purses and other stuff for my son's preschool charity, and that is all I can think of at the moment. Oh yeah a Christmas tree advent calendar. Busy Busy Busy.

I have a few odds and ends that I constantly play with, mostly for practicing different stitches...mostly hats.
I am about to start an afghan for my daughter. I also have a project going for my mom for next football season. I have to prefect tapestry crochet. That is really it for me at the moment. |

| I just started knitting a shawl for my mom. I hope I can get it done before Christmas. I'm using three yarns and size 35 needles to help speed it along. |

I learned from printing out instructions from learntoknit.com
After I mastered the knit & purl stitches, I took a class at Joanns so I could learn to read patterns. HTH
