Looking to meet other Moms and Babies

Hello. I have a 10 month old boy who has no one to play with (other than me), and I'd like to meet other Moms with babies around that age to play and socialize. I have a horse farm with lots of room to roam, but don't work out of the home, so meeting people has been a challenge. I'm in Taylorsville, about 12 miles West of Cartersville, if you're interested in meeting - anywhere - we're up for it! Thanks! Starr

Hello Starr, That sounds great to meet up. My youngest is 19mths. I also have a 4yr old at home. My other 3 are in school during the day. We're new to the area. We live in Adairsville. We could always meet up in Cartersville. It's about 20-25 mins. from me. Just let me know, we can compare schedules. Scarlett

Thank you for your response. My sister has my baby until Thursday while I'm baby proofing the house (he just started crawling!), so maybe Friday, or over the weekend we can meet up. Lets touch base later this week! Starr

Hi Scarlett,

Sorry for not keeping in touch, life with a toddler has been quite interesting, to say the least! I would still like to meet you and your wee ones. The Steeplechase is this weekend, which includes the 19th Annual Disc Dogs Southern Nationals on the infield. If you've never been, it's so much fun. They have exotic animals to interact with (last year you could ride a camel, for instance) and these hilarious Jack Russell Terrier races. I'm not sure of the cost, but can check into it if you're interested.

If we don't go see the ponies run, lets get together sometime anyway, we're still looking for new friends!
