Hi again everyone, My borfiriend and I plan to get married soon and we both very much want to start a family right away. I am excited about this but at the same time terrified. I know that he is going to be away just as much as he is now which I can handle, but I want him to be there to bond with the baby as he/she develops. He has said that he would want to bring the baby on the tour bus, or on the flights, which I am unsure about as well. Has anyone actually done that and can help me out with any advice? I read that Nicole Ritchie brought Harlow her daughter on the bus with the band which gave me some hope :) Does anyone else feel the same way I do? Any women who have children and a muscian for a husband, I am open to hear your experiences. |

Hi Ashley!
Yes I have toured with babies. I have twins and they started touring at 8 months. We could have gone a lot sooner but I was freaked out having them around sooo many people and germs. We outfitted the bus with cribs. They can go in the back lounge but we had enough space to put them in the bunk room. They took out all bunks in 2 sections and bolted full size cribs in thier place. It was sooo easy cause we would sleep across from them and could just look out the bunk to check on them. We did night drives and the babies slept amazingly with the engine sound and rocking. It is a bit more stressful but it is worth it to keep the family together! Keep me updated and if you need any advice let me know! |
