Hello I am Lee Ann Patrick and I am new to Fort Knox. I am looking for a group where the moms get together so the kids can play and the mom's can talk. I have 3 year old little boy named Sean. He keeps asking for his friends and I feel bad because we do not know anyone yet. I would to get to know other people and have a little more time to talk to adults. Hopefully i will meet some nice ladies soon.

Your message sounds all to familiar!!! I too just arrived to good ol' Ft. Knox (about 2 mo. ago) and have yet have had any success in meeting anyone to meet up with. I had to join a gym and join a daycare in order to get my daughter socially active. I tried to start a playgroup for other families in the area in the same situation but nobody else wanted to help me. So now I am going to start working on Monday... I am a nurse and I have found out that they aren't needed here in KY which made it hard for me to find work. Thank god my husband is military and we had a steady income from that! I am not sure of what my schedule will be but if you would like I can keep you updated and we could meet up!!! Madi would love it! She too keeps asking for her friends... she doesn't have any here either.

That would be awesome. Anytime would be great for meet up. That would be nice and hopefully the kids would love it too. Hope to meet you soon!

My husband and I only have one vehicle right now so time is tight but if I have time tomorrow I will call and let you know if we can meet up at a park, or if the weather is bad, at Burger King, to let the kiddo's play! I would love to meet you and Sean! |

Hey Lee Ann...
Sorry I didn't call yesterday, I didn't know you sent me your number until we got home! Which wasn't until 1830! Busy day yesterday! I hope we can get together soon though. I am not sure when I will be able to get the truck again but I will let you know! Any luck on playgroups yet?

| That is cool. No luck on play groups. You just let me know a good time. Maybe one of us could have a play date at our house. Just a thought.Call me and let me know what you think. |
