I am a huge fan of Carly Phillips. I have read nearly all of her books. I also like Judith McNaught though most of hers are older so not available in bookstores. Bella Andre is good too if you like really detailed romance books. |

Oh, and I LOVED "Bet Me" by Jennifer Cruise. Loved all of her books too.
I know this sounds a bit juvenile, but I LOVED the Harry Potter series. Excellent character development across all books and she finds a way to incorporate small seemingly insignificant things from earlier books into later ones. |

I loved the Harry Potter books! I have read all but maybe a couple of Dean Koontz same with John Grisham, I read She's come undone it was good, the book of mom was awesome, I have read all of Laurel K. Hamilton(hers got a bit over the top) All of Ann Rice, all of Terry Goodkind, all of Douglas Adams (very funny!) all of Dan Brown and a few select others. I have a hard time finding a book that will capture me so I stick to certain authors that I know I will enjoy. I saw the Last lecture but I want to buy it, very awesome. |

I am a huge fan of Sophie Kinsella! I have read everything she has written and I can't get enough. I also love Jennifer Weiner. I really liked "bet me" by Jenifer Crusie too but I haven't read anything else of hers. I have "Agnes and the Hitman" in my pile of books to read...I will get there eventually. |

Lexi, You should read the last 2, they are the best of the series I think. Doesn't it bug you to not know how it ends? |

Sophie Kinsella is in the chick lit genre. Here is a list of her books: Can you keep a secret? Confessions of a Shopaholic Shopaholic takes manhattan Shopaholic ties the knot Shopaholic and sister Shopaholic and baby Remember me? The Undomestic Goddess
The five shopaholics are a series and I put them in the right order. If you like light, fun reads then you will like these. Definitely mindless entertainment! |
