Hello! I started this group because I moved back to Hendersonville last year after I graduated from college. Most of my friends are not mommies, and unfortunately that has ended/slowed a lot of my friendships. I am looking to start playgroups to meet other parents and children around this area. I am a single stay at home mom right now while I finish my Masters. I also look forward to discussion on baby/children topics seeing as I am a first time mommy! hi Jill, I am a stay at home mom living in Goodlettsville.. new to the area.. have 3 kids.. one is a teenager but the others are 2 and 3 years old.. looking for playgroup info..

I haven't had much luck on this web site to be honest with you. I have been trying to find playgroups and other moms besides "mops" programs since before I had my son! It seems nearly impossible here. However, I do not know where in goodlettsville you live, but in Hendersonville (exit 7 off of Vietnam Veterans Blvd.) there is a place called mygym. You can google it to see what it is about, but they have age based classes. Its unlimited classes a month for your age range. from like 6 months to 6 years. It is expensive but worth it to me 60 a month for around 4 classes a week and two open gyms. I plan on starting with my 10 month old soon because he is almost walking. It is a good way to meet other moms and such. There is also a new mommy and me class opening in gallatin. It is probably too far away from you. It is expensive too, $40 a month for 4 classes. yikes! The nashville zoo is a great place for kids. you can see if they have any kids programs as well as the frist museum in nashville. Jill
