Republicans or democrats, you have to love this election! Great act of democracy, Colin Powel and Condoleeza Rice, high level Republicans, showing their emotion and even Bush!
No report of election fraud, no violence in Chicago almost 1 milion people street party and most of all you have to love the message of hope and justice that sends across the planet.
It is a proud day for this country regardless of your political affiliation.

I was amazed that there were practically no lines around here and no problems of any kind reported. It was a beautiful (and shocking!) thing! |

I'm thrilled with election, and especially thrilled with the outcome! I had a great election day...all my votes came true - nationally and state-related! woohoo! |

I cried with joy when the outcome was announced. I held my son tight and told him everything was going to be ok now. Change for the better is here! GO OBAMA!!! WE DID IT! |

We should all be very proud as a nation...the people spoke, loudly & our voices were heard!

Someone told me that the United States is the ONLY country in history where a majority of whites have elected a minority as their head of government. That is why the whole world is in awe... After the past 8 year, it feels good to realise that we are still a Shining Beacon of Light. |
