Crafty Moms
Public online group

hi
I'm so glad I found this group. I love to be crafty but I'm not super artistic so this will be fun. Do you guys have any ideas for Christmas crafts. This will be my first Christmas with a baby...he'll be 6 1/2 months old :) I want to go do pottery painting and something with hands or feet.

Like Walmart and Michaels have kits that you make a ceramic hand or foot. I did ny daughters hand when she was 11 months old she wiggled a lot but it still turned out cute. They also have plaques made of plaster that you just put your print in. I am a scrapbooking, cardmaking person so I have done like a scrapbook page on a clipboard for a wall hanging. I also am doing mini books for Christmas this year. You can also do hand prints in paint or ink, if you stamp them then cut them out and put them together facing down they make a tree, and out they make a wreath. let me know if you need more ideas

A really easy one that grandparents tend to love... and it makes a great Christmas present~ hand and feet prints on a big rock or boulder with the date painted on it also... great for placing outside in a garden or yard under a tree!

Beth, you can also take a picture of your little one (or the entire family) and take it to your local Walgreens,Walmart or basically any where they do one hour photo and order an ornament or many other gifts that will be a wonderful thing to save.
