First I will say.. it is not mandatory for anyone to respond to your post. You can request advice, but no one HAS to respond. I hadnt even read the post, b/c I dont look at this website everyday. It seems to me like a normal 2 yr old, except for the not wanting to be dirty part. If you are concerned maybe you should talk to his pedi, especially if you think he has OCD, as well as ADHD. Maybe he could use some form of intervention. (I dont know exactly what, but it could be something to look in to.)
He could also be whining b/c he is bored, or needs a different stimulant. Im not sure what you do with him at home, but variety is always good for all children. I rotate my kids toys, so they dont get bored with the same things all the time. They also have certain bins of toys that they can only play with if I am directly supervising and it is a treat for them to play with and it usually keeps them entertained.
I have no experience with ADHD, although my almost 5 yr old son is very hyper/ active all the time.
(Maybe people havent responded b/c they dont know what to do or dont have any suggestions.) |
