Hi! My name is Michelle and I am 39 years old. I am a first time stay-at-home mom of a beautiful daughter named Ellie. I am having a hard time finding things to keep her occupied with during the day. I get bored and it seems to me that she does too. We live in a rural area so there aren't many things to do here and she is so young that I don't know "what" to do! Please let me know if there are any activities that you have found helpful with your children. Thank you so much for your time. mp |

Stick to a schedule. There's not much a 6 months old can do, really. We start the day by going on a very short walk, eating breakfast, getting ready for the day, watching Sesame Street in the exer-saucer, takes a short nap, I clean up the house, she wakes up and eats lunch, plays on the floor with tupperware (she thinks it's pretty cool), I make dinner for her and her dad while she plays in the booster chair with her jungle play thingy, I'm feeding her when her dad comes home, after that I get a much needed break. |
