Activities for a 6 month old
Hi! My name is Michelle and I am 39 years old. I am a first time stay-at-home mom of a beautiful daughter named Ellie. I am having a hard time finding things to keep her occupied with during the day. I get bored and it seems to me that she does too. We live in a rural area so there aren't many things to do here and she is so young that I don't know "what" to do! Please let me know if there are any activities that you have found helpful with your children. Thank you so much for your time. mp

Stick to a schedule. There's not much a 6 months old can do, really. We start the day by going on a very short walk, eating breakfast, getting ready for the day, watching Sesame Street in the exer-saucer, takes a short nap, I clean up the house, she wakes up and eats lunch, plays on the floor with tupperware (she thinks it's pretty cool), I make dinner for her and her dad while she plays in the booster chair with her jungle play thingy, I'm feeding her when her dad comes home, after that I get a much needed break.
