My four year old daughter wont go to bed with out me.any sugestions

My 3 year old son was the same way! When I went back to work i realized he needed to sleep in his own bed, without me! I took him to his bed one night, read him his bedtime story, and layed him down and tucked him in, I then got up to leave and he started to flip out i told him i had to go potty and that i would be back in, and for him to lay down to fall asleep. I left and closed the door, and 20 minutes later he came walking out, i kept up the routine for about an hour untill he finally fell asleep. It stayed that way for a night or two then he got used to the idea of having his bed to himself, now the only time he tries to sleep with me is when he is sick

Hey girl,my son is 4 years old and he is the same way. He wants to sleep in the bed with me all the time. He will go to sleep in his bed but then crawl right back in my bed during the middle of the night. He keeps telling me he is scared and there is monsters. Has she fell asleep in your bed and then you try to put her in her bed? Does she have a night light? Ericka www.healthrepsneeded.com
