Activities for mother/infant

Hi, I am a stay at home mother of a 4 month old baby girl. I was wondering if there were any activities for mothers and their babies such as story time or anything like that. If anyone knows about anything like that please let me know. Thanks Sarah

I know that there is baby story time at the library, I think it is on Wednesday mornings. I know they also have music classes, but I think they start at 6 months old. Visit lansing.momslikeme.com... we talk a lot about things to do with different age groups, and soon will be setting up some playgroups.

Yes, there are many story times in the Lansing area. If you go to the Capital Area District Library website (www.cadl.org) you can click on the link "events calendar" and then choose the library location nearest to you, or based on the day/time/age that most appeals to you. Just to pass along: on WED NOV 12th, I will be doing a Baby Signs storytime for the younger age group (up to a year old) at the Haslett location. Time is 10am. We will be learning some basic signs with a couple stories and songs. Come along and check it out!
