Hi
I have a 20 month old daughter and a 5 month old son...
Would love to chat with you about little girls and getting some advice...especially since we've had so many health problems with her.

Hi, nice to talk to someone. What kind of problems have you had, not to be nosy, just curious. We have been very blessed, no serious problems with our girls. A broken hand with the oldest, thankfully that is all with her. The little one was in the hospital earlier this year with RSV, stayed a couple days but everything turned out ok. Hope you little ones are good and to chat with you some more.

My daughter has been listed as "failure to thrive" since she cannot gain weight so we've been in and out of the hospital and specialists since she was 2 months old. She also gets bronchitis severly and ear infections like you can't imagine. At this point she still has hard times trying to swallow food no matter how small it is cut up/diced etc.
My son on the other hand has no problems, thankfully...maybe that's because we started him on formula day one instead of b.f.

Virginia,
My friend has the same problem with her daughter. She is nearly 2 and are still doing tests to figure out what's wrong with her. She only weighs 19 lbs. She ended up getting tubes in her ears at 12 mo and a feeding tube at 20 months and is doing much better but still has alot of problems. Just wanted to let you know you are not the only one in that boat!

Katie,
Thanks for letting me know..felt like I've been doing something wrong this whole time...when she's been hospitalized no other kids have ever been diagnosed with it and it never helps when the specialists always make it seem like the parents are at fault. Tell your friend I wish her and her family good luck.

Virginia,
I know exactly what you mean. My friend is constantly blaming herself even though she did nothing to cause any of the problems. She doesn't drink or smoke and she took really good care of herself while she was pregnant. Something just went wrong. I keep telling her that it's not her fault and it doesn't matter because she loves her little girl anyway.
