My son will be 3 on Halloween, and I think he is just lazy! But he was circumsized a little over 2 months ago. Now that he had that done. he can now Potty Standing up. (There is also no Father figure around) So what I am wondering is..... Why is it taking him so long to potty train. My sister tells me that her son was potty trained at 20 months. Please Help!

Jennifer, I would not worry about him taking so long. Every child is different, therefore they operate on their own schedule. My sister's son just turned 4 in August and he was just completely trained just before his 4th birthday. My son is 21 months old and I'm not even attempting it yet.

Hi Jennifer - my pedi said around 3 is the norm for boys, so you're not off schedule. My son turned 2 in August, and I'm not even going there yet. Why rush it right?
