a small update
Hey yall!

I kinda left this site for a while, I wasn't getting along with a few mothers...I've joined CafeMom and the mothers there are alot nicer. I did want to send a little update yalls way on my dad.

Back in July he had a stroke. It has been referred to as a “small” one. It started Thursday 7-17-08 before we left for vacation...he had tingling in his left hand with some numbness and a loss of dexterity In the left hand(and he's left handed). BUT he didn't tell anyone and we went on vacation to myrtle beach, while we were on vacation he noticed things were harder to do with is left hand. The day after we got back from vacation he had told my mom and she was going to take him to the er and while she was getting dressed he had a seizure. They called 911 and they took him to the hospital but before the ambulance could even get out of their drive way the seizure stopped and he was ok. They found out that he has a clot in his head that caused the stroke and the stroke caused the seizure.

Now its Oct and he is doing SOOOOO much better. He got to go back to work as a SRO a week or so after he got out of the hospital and he's been going to all his dr appts(he has ALOT now) and I'm just so glad that he is better. The clot is almost gone with meds and stuff so things are looking up.

ANYWHO I just wanted to let yall know about whats been going on with my police officer
