I have a question about sharing and fighting over toys
I have a 2 and 1/2 year old girl and I babysit for another girl who is almost 3. It's been about 6 months now that I watch her 3 days a week. But everyday they fight one wants one toy or the other will grab a toy from ones hand and one starts screaming and I try to say lets share, she can have a turn for two minutes and then it's your turn, but that won't work, or I redirect and give one another toy to play with and she doesn't want it. Sometime I will ignore the negative behavior and after a while one will stop the whining. but it is a fight daily. Any other suggestions that you have? They both are only childs so could that be why they have a hard time sharing? How do your children that have siblings handle certain issues as such. Any ideas would help. It makes for a long 3 days!! Hope fully this florida weather cools down soon so we can spend more time oudoors, they love the play and get alone well outside, Thanks for listening!
