Re: Hey Ladies
I just moved to PCB over the summer - my husband works on the navy base. I have exactly 1 friend here and just had a baby boy 7 weeks ago. I stay home with him so I don't have a lot of opportunities to meet people in the area. I'm hoping to be able to have an excuse to get out of the house occasionally, and also talk to people who are old enough to talk back.

I feel your pain :) I've lived here over 2 years and as a SAHM have only managed to make less than a handful of friends. I guess that's what happens when you only leave the house to grocery shop. My husband and I take our son out on "field trips" on weekends... last weekend we went to the Navarre Zoo and the beach and the weekend before the park. We're actually gonna try potty training sometime soon...scary! But anyway... I know how hard it is to get out there and meet people.

Hi Shannon,
Im in the same boat but about 3 months further down the track with my little boy. We live in Destin and my Hubby is Australian Air Force here on exchange for another 2 years. I know what Courtney means with the grocery shopping. it seems to be the only opportunity i get to talk to adults and get out of the house. If you want to meet up at all we could all make a day and time. I know how hard it is with feeding and sleeping schedules but i am sure we can all work something out as a group. Let me know what you think.
