It's easy to feel that way but just think of the other experiences you've gotten compared to other moms. Nothing will EVER replace those sounds and emotions of a preemie.

Tell me more of your story. My son was 6 weeks early and weighed 2 lbs 7 ozs. He was in the NICU for 4 weeks. The bond with other preemie families is unexplainable.

Run with it!!

My baby was three and a half months early. He stayed in the nicu for 65 days .I never miss a day if only there for 30 mins.I also had high blood pressure that lasted for 7 weeks after giving birth. It was an experince that I will not forget.

Hi, I'm 26 years old and a first time parent. My pregnancy was also complicated. My twin girls were born at 30 weeks and 4 days old, early on I experienced complications at 14 wks. I felt like the doctor appointments would never end. I developed everything from swelling to high blood pressure, diabeties. I think of myself as active so when they told me to go on bed rest I was devestated that i won't be able to go through doctor's order, i did restrict activities because i know it's whats best for my babies. What i missed the most about being pregnant is their movement in my belly. It was a little getting use to but now it's sadly missed. Now i wonder if my future pregnancies will be complicated as well.
