| My daughter will be two on halloween and I feel like she is already in the terrible two stage. When I take her out in public she trows temper tantrums because all she wants to do is run around and play. She never acted like this before. She is usually well behaved, especially around strangers. I just would like to feel confident about bringing her around other moms and kids again. |

Hi Jessica,
I'm in a similar situation... my daughter will be 2 around Christmastime. I've found that being in a playgroup is helpful... insisting that she share with others and not get her way all the time. Also, a really good book is, "How to Make Your Kids Mind Without Losing Yours" by Kevin Leman. I'm getting some good ideas from there too! Good luck! |

Hi Jessica,
My son is 20 months and he's been throwing temper tantrums for about 2 months now. It's normal. Some start at 2 years old and some start younger. Unfortunately we cannot give in to those tantrums. You should bring your child around as many kids as possible and other moms. It only helps the situations. Sometimes it doesn't but that's okay just let your daughter cry it out and then she will be okay. Don't give in!
