Hello, I'm new!

Hey everyone! I just noticed this group and thought it would be great to join to discuss with others what is probably a mutual feeling between mothers of children who aren't hitting the verbal milestones, so to speek. My son Noah is 2 and a half and only says mama, but it doesn't mean me. It means everything! For a while there he said gaga and baba (not meaning bottle), but he does that only once and a great while. He is in speech therapy and he just had his hearing checked again. Neither of his ears passed. They will be doing more tests to see just exactly what isn't passing. He uses signs mostly and we say the words so he know what they are. But he just doesn't say them. I am glad to be a part of the group and hope to talk to you all soon!
