script writing three year old
my daughter has an imagination the size of a small country and when we play together she always feels the need to say something like "oh i really missed you cat" and then turn to me and say " now you say" cat i really missed you too"". does anyone else have this happen and how do you deal with it. She always does it with the friends that she is comfortable with but doesn.t do it that much in playgroups. I can tell it anoys her friends to always being told what to say ..any advice would be much appreciated......Angie mama to Isabelle

My son is two and a half and does this all the time too, as a former preschool teacher of 5 yr olds I can tell you that this is normal. It is part of the way they want things to go and they want others to interact. It will annoy her friends but they will do it to her as well. My advice to you is to just let her get through it (as I said my 5 year olds would do it too) and if it is annoying you just let her know that if you want to say that you will and move on.
