| My name is Dawn and I am looking for a playgroup for my son. He just turned a year old this month and is eager to interacte with other children. My husband and I moved to Smithsburg in April and have had a difficult time in finding a suitable playgroup for our son. I am currenlty a stay at home mom and have a fairly open schedule. |

| Have you thought about joining a MOPS group?? There are several in the area, the one that I belong to meets on the 1st and 3rd Sunday nights of each month from 6-8pm, and they have someone that watches the kids so you can have a little you time with other moms. He would be able to play with kids at the meetings, and they do occasionally get together for playdates and different sorts of things. That way your son has children to interact with and you have other mom's to interact with. We have stay at home moms, and working mom's, single mom's and married mom's, we have quite a little mix and we are always happy to welcome more moms. We meet in Hagerstown at the Boy Scout building, and that is located at the end of the road that Kaplan College (formely HBC) is located on. If you are interested we would love to meet you and our next meeting is on Oct 19th, at 6pm. |
