Anyone out there

I'm trying to socialize my 15 mth old daughter with kids her age. I have a Kidcity membership & go to the local park but all the kids are older & parents aren't so open when I try to get the kids to play together, they get real protective or move onto the next thing to do. I hurts me to see her look at the other kids & want to play with them but she obviously can't speak as well as 2 or 3 year olds & I can't force parents to let their kids play with my daughter. We just moved to a new town & I don't know anyone here. She's not in daycare so thats out. It truley breaks my heart when she looks at my so sad when the kids walk away from her

find a mom's group in your area meetups.com that is what I did and finally found on today in my area of texas.

Do they offer a Parents as Teachers program through the school district that you are in? That is an awesome free resource for parents and children. They plan fun activities and playgroups for the kids, and they also send a parent educator to your home if you want. I am an educator and I use PAT with my daughter. It is a great resource for parents! You can check it out at: parentsasteachers.org.
