Updates :)
So we just had our 4 month appointment yesterday.....I wanted to cry right along side Noah when he got his shots....luckily he stops crying as soon as I pick him up.

I figured this is a good time to get updates from everyone on how their little ones are doing...

Noah is 13lbs 9 oz and 25.25 inches long --He definately takes after my side of the family--but has his daddy's gorgeous blue eyes! He still hasn't rolled over yet--he can go from back to side...especially when he tries to eat his toes, but can sit by himself for short periods of time and can stand if someone holds his fingers. We're starting cereal next week:)
He is sleeping longer at night...occasionally for 5-6 hours (we've gotten a couple of all nighters). My pediatrician said not to let him CIO--he's too young and I just dont think that we should yet. He seems to be doing ok and I'm getting plenty of sleep. He loves to talk and coo--probably because I talk to him ALL day lol (it's my only interaction during the day) He can get really loud and i think makes noise just to hear himself--he tries so hard to mimic us and he gets so frustrated when he can't make the words/sounds he wants.
We have a gum indention thats been there a couple weeks--thats where he positions our fingers to chew on--he chews on EVERYTHING.
It's getting cold here and windy so we can't go out as much--he really enjoys being outside--I hate the cold weather.

Last night was tough because he was super tired and i think hurting so he was really upset and we couldn't find the baby ibuprofen so we had to run to town. Now he's happy as usually and smiley!

I can't believe how fast these 4 months have gone by and how big he's getting--we've tried the highchair and he loves it so we'll see how cereal goes next week!

Let's hear how everyone else is doing!!!

I hear you Beth, it has gone fast! Luke went for his 4 month check up on Tuesday too. He is a whopping 18 lbs 8 oz and 27 inches! The doctor was so funny, when he saw Luke he goes "whoah it's a sumo wrestler!" He is healthy & doing well. He can roll from belly to back easily but still struggles to go back to belly. He is laughing & smiling a lot, which is just adorable.

Unfortunately he is teething pretty badly right now, so he went from being the calmest, quietest baby to a very fussy, cranky baby. I've been trying everything, the teething rings, oragel, tylenol, etc but nothing really helps. I hope those teeth come soon! My older son got his first teeth at 4 mos... keep your fingers crossed for me. My husband took him for a 2 hr car ride one day to make him nap.

Luckily he is still sleeping through the night, has been since 2 months. I got spoiled with him. He sleeps from 9:30 or 10:00 pm until 7:00 or 7:30 am, like 10 hrs at a time! He is still breast feeding, so does some cluster feeding in the evening before bed but the doctor says because of his size, he is able to sleep longer than a lot of babies. I guess that's a good thing about having a 9 lb 11 oz baby (and not a csection!)

Hope everyone is doing well!

Logan & Jack are both doing great. They are rolling from their tummies to their backs. Logan weighs 13 lbs. 4 oz. & Jack weighs 15 lbs. 3 oz. The size difference is getting smaller at every weigh in. I am glad of that. (Logan was only 4.6 at birth & Jack was 6.13)
They aren't teething yet, but drooling a ton!
And as for sleep, they were sleeping 10-12 hours a night, but then they got their first colds & we've been out of whack since then! I am lucky to get two hours in a row now. And I am EXHAUSTED! It sucks cause even if one sleeps through the night, I still have to care for the other one who is awake.
I agree that the time is going too fast. I have to go back to work in a month. And I don't know how I am going to handle that. It's a necessary evil.
Until then I am enjoying every moment with the boys.

Martin turned three months old on the 28th. He is 15lbs 2oz and about 25.5in long. He has deep dark blue eyes and can roll over from tummy to back. He is working on the back to tummy, but only get to his side because his arm and leg are blocking him. He can stand if I just hold onto his arms and steady him. I have already started him on cereal when he was two and a half months old. He just kept eating and eating and was never full so his grandma said, "Feed the child give him some real food." So we gave him cereal and he wolfed that down with no problems and wanted more. But it seems that the cereal is hitting the spot and the doctor said that as long as he didn't have an allergy then he could eat cereal. He doesn't so he mostly eats cereal and the morning feedings of breast milk and a bit of formula through out the day.

He sleeps through out the whole night from nine or ten at night wakes up at midnight and we both go to bed again at one and awake together at ten or eleven in the morning plus he takes a hour nap twice during the day.

Talks and coos all the time and gets mad at us if we don't listen to him or we don't respond the way he wants us to. Loves his Tigger stuffed animal and talks to him too and likes to hug and chew on him. I take him on walks when I go to the post office for the mail, it's still very nice here in central Illinois and I like taking him to the lake and the zoo.

We listen to Classical, Broadway, and to his Pink Floyd Lullabies.
Here is a link to the web-site and they have tons of different artists that they converted there songs to lullabies.
