Feeding twins
How does someone bottle feed twins at the same time? About twice a day my boys need a bottle at the same time. I try really hard to keep their feedings about 20 minutes apart so they don't cry at the same time and stress me out even more. Any reply would be great.
I'm a new mother of twins a little over 2 weeks old.

Congratulations! They maybe a little young for it, but they make this hands free bottle. I got one at Babies-R-Us. Otherwise a friend of mine with twins said she would prop her boys and the bottles up with pillows. Good luck!

congrats Brittney! As a mother of 18 month old twins, I certainly know how twins are a double blessing, but also definitely a double challenge! I would put both twins in their little infant car seat/ carrier, one on each side of you, and feed them that way. And then I guess, you would just have to burp them, one at a time after that. I know there is a way, you can lay each of them over your legs and burp them at the same time.... I don't think I was ever that talented, but I know a lot of twin moms are! Anyways, if there is anything else you need let me know! Take care & God Bless! Colleen

Hi Brittany,

As the mother of 10 1/2 month old twin girls, I too understand how difficult it can be to feed the twins when their feeding times coincide.

I didn't use their car seats, but instead, purchased the Fisher Price Gliders. I would lay them in the gliders and feed them on either side of me. Every now and then, I would pick each up to burp. It can be done easily if you face the twins while they eat.

Those gliders were PRICELESS! My girls used them until they were about 6 1/2 months old and they were worth their weight in gold! I'm giving them to a friend who just had twin girls also. I found the gliders more comfortable and easier to clean (from spills) than the car seats, as well.

Good luck and God bless!
