Pumpkin Patch

My family went to the Pumpkin Patch this weekend. My little guy had so much, we all did. This particular patch is in Black Hawk and was on the news this morning. It is full of pumpkins! However, with all of the media attention who knows how full it will stay. Another great place is the big church by Canyon Lake! They have activities for the kiddies too. They have one of those lawnmower barrel trains and recipe pamphlets for seeds and things. We went there last year, the thing is to go early in the month because they are well known too. There is also a great recipe that is vinigar and water that you can wipe over the outside of your pumpin to keep it fresh till Halloween! I believe it is half and half but I have not done mine yet so you may want to look it up. Has anyone else done the pumpkin thing yet?
