So I have been working on potty training my 4 year old for 2 years now! He does great when we are away from home, but when we are home, it has been a problem from square one to get him to use the toilet regularly rather than messing in his underwear (number one and two). My husband and I are so frustrated at this point and are scarred to death that our soon to be 2 year old daughter will be doing the same thing. Since the moment my son was born he gets rashes and yeast infections so quickly that I even have to get up at night with him to check if he is wet. He has no tolerance whatsoever with wetness....so why is this such a problem to potty train him?
Anyone have any ideas as to how to ease this burden? I have friends that tell me all the time how their son was potty trained in a weekend, and have never had a problem since, how is this possible?
