I'm a new mom, tatooed and all....

I just couldn't find anyone around here with the same interest as I have. I live in a town with a population of about 400, and they all look at my husband and I walking with my 13 month old like we are evil. We are just good parents with ink!!

Thanks Greg, I read your profile, that's how my husband feels. He doesn't have many out here to just hang out with. He like music and Skateboarding. Right now he is teaching my 8 yr old nephew how to skate. Do you or your wife have tattoos? My husband has both his sleeves done and I have my back, Right Thigh and Upper chest done. Oh, and how is GA? I've always wanted to go .

GA is nice. the past few weeks have been perfect! I have tattoo's my wife just has a few small one's. trying to get another one but i'm having a hard time talking my wife into letting spend the money. we have a new baby coming in about a month so we need all the diaper money we can get. :)

Tell me about diaper money, fortunately we have a friend who owns a daycare and we get the left over diapers that the parents leave behind. They bring so many she does not use them all. I don't think we have bought a single diaper since she used #1's and she is now in 4's. That is so helpful. Especially since my husband and I have thousands in our body art we should of thought ahead. :)

You know what, I go to a church where no one would even speak a word to me! They eventually had to overcome it because it was obvious that I wasn't going nowhere!!!

One would think that the stereotypes about tattoos would have faded by now! I only have 2 (a butterfly with a heart on my back and a chineese symbol on my ankle) but have had them since I was 17 and 18. I want another but $ is always the issue. My husband has 5. 3 small ones on his back, a cross on his arm and an armband of the eyes from Tool's Lataralus (sp?) album. My hubby has been talking about getting more but has the same problem as me, $. We don't get funny looks though even though we live in a small town in a very conservative place (nebraska). Mostly because tattoos are pretty popular around here. We actually get MORE looks because my husband looks around 30 and I look like I'm 18 (he is 26 and i am 25). People look at us like we are perverted because of the supposed "age difference". People who judge others are stupid!

well I have a 9 month old and last september I got his name and birthday tatooed on me. (my husband had a cow) He hates tattooes. Anyways. I think they are great as long as they have a meaning behind them. Like my nxt one will be my grandma's initials cuz she means the world to me.
