I have a 20-month old. What is a good age to start homeschooling? Where do I start? |

At a young age the most important thing is play. Don't push too soon on schooling them. You can point out letters and say their names and sounds but I wouldn't do any formal schooling till they are older. Lot's of play at this age is the key :). I hope that helps. |

I agree with Jody, playing and pointing things out at this age is the best way to start learning. And of course read, read, read, read!
If you would like to try something with a little bit of structure check out Brightly Beaming Baby. It has "curriculum" starting at one year old. And than for 2 and up. I think the "curriculum" for a two year old is a little advanced, in my opinion. But, it can be structured to suit your needs.

Well that makes me feel better. Right now it is all about play and pointing things out, and he loves to read! |

Karen - I just checked out this website and I love it! Even if we don't get to do everything each day, it is such an amazing tool to have. Thanks so much for the tip! |
