Hi! I became a foster parent because we were unable to bear biological children so we decided we should have kids that need us as much as we need them in our home.
I am a single woman that loves children very much. I have been a teacher in a Lutheran school for 7 years and last year I had several foster parents in my classroom so I researched the program and wanted to become more involved. I learned so much and went through the classes and was so excited to be able to help. So all in all--I became a foster parent to help out the young children that were in need of a home. It has been an exciting experience, but a tough one as well. It breaks my heart to see everything that these children have to go through in order to get through a day.
